North Surry waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the North Wilkes Vikings with a sharp 12-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Greyhounds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Surry pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, North Surry will head out to square off against Elkin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elkin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season. As for North Wilkes, they will host Forbush at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Forbush will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
