Boone Grove came tearing into Tuesday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Victory Christian Academy Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since August 16th.

Boone Grove took Victory Christian Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-7, 25-16, 25-27, 15-8.

Jordyn Botma paced Boone Grove's offense, picking up 12 kills. Botma got some help from Mya Wargo and her 52 assists. Callie Garza controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Victory Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Bella Herrold, who had 39 digs. Herrold has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Boone Grove's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Victory Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-7.
