Basketball Game Preview: Cresset Christian Academy Eagles vs. Fayetteville Academy Eagles

Cresset Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They breezed past Durham Flight HomeSchool to the tune of 72-34. The Eagles have beaten the Flight the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Flight has come to flipping the script.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Fayetteville Academy walked away with a 68-60 win over GRACE Christian.

Cresset Christian Academy better keep an eye on Justin Caldwell. He was instrumental in Fayetteville Academy's win, almost dropping a double-double with 30 points and nine boards. Caldwell's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aziz Al-Jurhanni, who posted 14 points and five assists.

Cresset Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Fayetteville Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
