Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christ the King). Their defense stepped up to hand the Langtree Charter Academy Lions a 9-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for Christ the King in their matchups with Langtree Charter Academy: they've now won nine in a row.

Christ the King's offense was hitting Langtree Charter Academy from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Addison Peirce led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Christ the King's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.
