Baseball Preview: Earlville Red Raiders vs. West Carroll Thunder
The Earlville Red Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the West Carroll Thunder at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Earlville hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.
Friday just wasn't the day for Earlville's offense. They fell 5-0 to South Beloit on Friday.

Earlville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Declan Brennan, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base. Jacen Anderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Winter Harrington, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Earlville's record now sits at 0-3. As for West Carroll, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
