Nash Central has gone a perfect 9-0 against North Pitt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Nash Central Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Pitt Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Nash Central has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Nash Central had taken Bunn down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. Nash Central came up short against Bunn, falling 17-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered against the Wildcats since March 22, 2022.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Pitt). They put the hurt on Greene Central with a sharp 22-3 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won seven in a row.

This is the second loss in a row for Nash Central and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for North Pitt, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-7.

Everything went Nash Central's way against North Pitt in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Nash Central made off with a 20-0 victory. Will Nash Central repeat their success, or does North Pitt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
