Hightstown got a great performance from Lucas Nunez as he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave Nunez a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Devon Decker, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Dylan Stables, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
