The Arcadia Apaches will face off against the Burroughs Bears at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Arcadia's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Glendale 10-0. The win continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Nitros: they've now won eight in a row.
Peyton Fox was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nia White, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Cordeiro, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Arcadia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glendale only posted an OBP of .000.
Burroughs came out on top against Muir on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Bears put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 7-0 victory.
The result came thanks to Valentina Reyes's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Karlee Earl was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Shugar, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Arcadia's win bumped their record up to 13-2-1. As for Burroughs, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
Arcadia skirted past Burroughs 11-9 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Will the Apaches repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
