Basketball Game Preview: Northshore Panthers vs. Marist War Eagles

The Northshore Panthers and the Marist War Eagles will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Northshore needed a bit of extra time to put away Gaston Christian. They had just enough and edged the Eagles out 43-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Marist made easy work of Pulaski County on Saturday and carried off an 82-59 victory. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Marist has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Northshore, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
