Baseball Recap: Bruce Randolph Comes Up Short

Bruce Randolph lost against Clear Creek back in May of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bruce Randolph Grizzlies lost 17-5 to the Clear Creek Golddiggers.

Bruce Randolph's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Clear Creek, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bruce Randolph will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Denver West at 4:15 p.m. on April 2nd. Clear Creek will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Flatirons Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 3rd.
