Football Recap: Lexington Catholic Comes Up Short

Lexington Catholic lost against Lexington Christian back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell 28-21 to the Eagles.

Lexington Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lexington Christian, they pushed their record up to 2-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Lexington Catholic and Lexington Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Knights see the field they'll take on Garrard County at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Lexington Christian, their break will end when they face W.E.B. DuBois Academy at 12:00 p.m. on October 3.
