If Liberty wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Champion, they should've done a better job of containing Mackenzie Braham. The Champion Golden Flashes strolled past the Liberty Leopards with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 42-24 thanks in part to Braham, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Kennedy McKee, who had five points and six steals. Champion is undefeated when McKee posts five or more steals, but 4-13 otherwise.

Champion's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Liberty, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Champion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-25 loss against Mineral Ridge on the 5th. As for Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 39-35 win against David Anderson on the 5th.
