Volleyball Recap: Poquoson Beats King William for Their Third Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Poquoson had no problem doing just that on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the King William Cavaliers. Winning may never get old, but the Islanders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Poquoson's got stronger as the match went on, holding King William to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-7.

Poquoson's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for King William, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Poquoson has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Amelia County on the 12th. King William does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
