Basketball Game Preview: Polytech Panthers vs. Woodbridge Raiders

The Polytech Panthers will take on the Woodbridge Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Polytech has 11 straight wins, Woodbridge has 15 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Polytech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sierra Henry, who posted 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. Henry is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Saniya Skinner, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 11 points along with six boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, Woodbridge came up short against Sussex Academy on Tuesday and fell 42-30.

Polytech's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Woodbridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.
