Volleyball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Wheelersburg Pirates. The Ironman/Ironladies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-12.

Ella Osborne paced Jackson's offense, picking up eight kills. Osborne got some help from Daycee Howard and her 14 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Mylee Gleim, who had 19 digs.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Wheelersburg, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wheelersburg, they will take on Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
