Volleyball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling lost against Ellinwood back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Black Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Black Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Bennett Jacobs, who had eight digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last ten games.

Sterling now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Ellinwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Smoky Valley on the 15th. As for Ellinwood, they will take on Russell on Thursday.
