Jones County came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 48-13 victory over the Locust Grove Wildcats. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 21 points or more this season.
Devin Edmonds was his usual excellent self, throwing for 308 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Jaivon Solomon was another key player, picking up 140 receiving yards and a touchdown.
