Basketball Recap: Olympic Heights Lions vs. Forest Hill Falcons

It's playoff time, and Olympic Heights had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Forest Hill Falcons 64-48 on Monday. 64 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Jake Harbatkin was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 15 en route to 25 points and seven boards. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Marks, who posted six points and five steals.

Forest Hill's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Jean, who earned seven points and 21 rebounds. Those 21 boards gave Jean a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Liunor Fernandez, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds.

Olympic Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Forest Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
