Animo Leadership won the last time they faced Animo City of Champions and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles walked away with a 43-32 win over the Animo City of Champions Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aztec Eagles.

Animo Leadership's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yader Velazquez, who posted 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bisade Oluwasaeun, who earned five points and seven steals.

Animo Leadership now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Animo City of Champions, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Animo Leadership won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Environmental Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
