UMS-Wright Prep won the last time they faced LeFlore and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Rattlers, posting a 43-14 victory.

UMS-Wright Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Max Fowler out in front who threw for 180 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance also gave Fowler a new career-high in passer rating (123.3). Richard Scott also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.

UMS-Wright Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Perry Hand and John Ellis Pritchard.

Despite the defeat, LeFlore had strong showings from Jakobie Carlton, who rushed for 62 yards and one score, and Ace Davis, who picked up 56 receiving yards and one TD.

The victory got UMS-Wright Prep back to even at 1-1. As for LeFlore, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
