Football Game Preview: Clermont Northeastern Rockets vs. Bethel-Tate Tigers

Clermont Northeastern is 1-9 against Bethel-Tate since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rockets will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Clermont Northeastern has given up an average of 30.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Clermont Northeastern and Blanchester meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Rockets were beaten by the Wildcats 36-6.

Meanwhile, Bethel-Tate took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 47-13 win over East Clinton. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Astros: they've now won nine in a row.

Clermont Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Bethel-Tate, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5.

Clermont Northeastern lost to Bethel-Tate on the road by a decisive 14-0 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
