Softball Recap: Sheffield Comes Up Short

Sheffield fell victim to Phil Campbell and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Bobcats. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sheffield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Phil Campbell, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Sheffield will challenge Shoals Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Phil Campbell, they will venture away from home to face off against Vina at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
