Softball Recap: Mililani Wins High-Profile Contest Against Kapolei

Mililani faced Kapolei in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Trojans came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 7-3. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won seven in a row.

Mililani pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Kapolei, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
