Volleyball Recap: Lily Hammonds and Kylie Harman Secure Win for Union Academy

It's playoff time, and Union Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Patton Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

The win didn't come easy: Patton scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Union Academy was led to victory by Kylie Harman and Lily Hammonds. Harman had ten digs, while Hammonds had eight digs. That's the most digs Hammonds has posted over her last seven matches.

Despite the loss, Patton still got an impressive performance from Jolann Buff, who had seven digs and two aces.

Union Academy's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Patton, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6.

Coming up, Union Academy will face off against Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Patton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
