Lee extends road losing streak to 13

Recap: Lee Generals vs. Central Wise Warriors

The Lee Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 84-46 loss at the hands of Central Wise. Lee was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-16.

When it comes to explaining why Lee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brynnen Pendergraft. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points along with six rebounds. Pendergraft hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Konner Early, who scored ten points along with three steals.

Lee dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Central Wise, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.

Lee will head out on the road to challenge Gate City at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gate City is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games. As for Central Wise, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ridgeview on January 27th. Ridgeview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
