Basketball Recap: Wise Piles Up the Points Against Suitland

A well-balanced attack led Wise over Suitland in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wise Pumas blew the Suitland Rams out of the water with a 74-47 final score. The Pumas pushed the score to 56-34 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rams had little chance of recovering from.

Dion Walker went supernova for Wise, putting up 21 points and six assists. Cayden Hargrove was another key player, going 5 of 6 on his way to 11 points.

Wise's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.9 points per game.
