Sumter Christian won the last time they faced Maranatha Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1.

Sumter Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Maranatha Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Sumter Christian will venture away from home to challenge Emmanuel Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Maranatha Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
