Basketball Recap: Center Hill Takes a Loss

Center Hill is still winless after their contest against Lewisburg on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Patriots. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly three points.

Center Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lewisburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Center Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Southaven at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewisburg, they will head out to square off against Independence at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
