Recap: Leadership Academy Falcons vs. North Forsyth Vikings
The Leadership Academy Falcons posted their biggest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 57-24 win over North Forsyth. The win was familiar territory for Leadership Academy who now have three in a row.
Leadership Academy was led to victory by Ali Faenza and Emmy Guldberg. Faenza scored 24 points, while Guldberg dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Faenza continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Brooke Swigert was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with two steals.
Leadership Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for North Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leadership Academy will take on Cornerstone Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Forsyth, they will head out on the road to face off against McMichael at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
