Soccer Game Preview: Wayne County vs. Vancleave

The Wayne County War Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Vancleave Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne County will be strutting in after a victory while Vancleave will be coming in after a defeat.

Wayne County will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Laurel on Friday. Wayne County never let Laurel onto the board and left with a 7-0 win. The matchup marked the War Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Vancleave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Gautier. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly two goals.

Wayne County's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Vancleave, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Wayne County might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Vancleave in their previous matchup back in January. Can Wayne County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
