Park Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tessa Walker out in front who had 19 assists and four digs. That's the most assists Walker has posted over her last seven matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Brown, who had eight digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, Liberty North beat Platte County 3-1 on Thursday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Liberty North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-12.
Liberty North's win came from a few key players Park Hill will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Olivia Derenzy, who had 24 digs and two assists. Mackenzie Grohs was another key player, getting 18 digs and one assist.
