King Charter lost against Newman back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The King Charter Jaguar fell 65-53 to the Newman Greenies. Newman's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Randy Livingston Jr, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds. Livingston Jr has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cj Encarlade, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 16 points.

King Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Newman, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.
