Widefield came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Pueblo West Cyclones. The loss continues a trend for Widefield in their meetings with Pueblo West: they've now lost three in a row.

Widefield's goal came courtesy of Steven Willard, who's now up to two this season.

Widefield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pueblo West, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Widefield has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Pueblo East on the 6th. As for Pueblo West, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Pueblo South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
