On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Sapulpa Chieftains beat the Enid Plainsmen 62-56. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chieftains.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sapulpa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wrigley Adkisson, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 17 points along with eight boards and four steals. Adkisson is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Riki Mcquarters, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.
Sapulpa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Enid, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
