Flag Football Game Preview: Fox Lane Foxes vs. Peekskill Red Devils

The Fox Lane Foxes will challenge the Peekskill Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Fox Lane 9.1, Peekskill 13.8) so any points scored will be well earned.

Fox Lane took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Nyack as they made off with a 32-10 victory. The Foxes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Peekskill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 14-13 heartbreaker at the hands of Lakeland. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York flag football rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Hornets are ranked 57th).

Fox Lane's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Peekskill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
