Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Charter Eagles vs. Mountain Island Charter Raptors

The Lincoln Charter Eagles will challenge the Mountain Island Charter Raptors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Island Charter took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln Charter, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Lincoln Charter made easy work of East Lincoln and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Mountain Island Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Bradford Prep.

Mountain Island Charter couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Bradford Prep a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-7, 29-31, 25-14.

Lincoln Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mountain Island Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Lincoln Charter came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountain Island Charter in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will Lincoln Charter repeat their success, or does Mountain Island Charter has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
