Baseball Recap: Pahokee Comes Up Short

Pahokee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Glades Central Raiders, falling 11-1. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Pahokee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Glades Central, they pushed their record up to 4-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pahokee will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Moore Haven at 6:30 p.m. on April 1st. After both having extra time off, Glades Central and Glades Day will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st. Glades Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
