Guilford extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-1. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-28 win over the Harlem Huskies. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 30-13 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Harlem fell to 4-1. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging ten points allowed.

When it comes to explaining why Harlem lost, don't look at La'Darrius Foster. Despite the final result, he rushed for 84 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. Dwayne Broom helped out on the ground, rushing for 95 yards.

Guilford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 40-14 win against Jefferson on the 2nd. As for Harlem, they have also already played their next contest, a 59-14 victory against Freeport on the 3rd.
