Volleyball Recap: Johnson-Brock Gets the Win

Johnson-Brock posted their closest win since September 2nd on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Valley Heights Mustangs 2-1. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Johnson-Brock got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 30-28, 25-19.

Johnson-Brock found their leader in sophomore Isabell Bishop, who had 24 digs and two aces.

Johnson-Brock's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-6. As for Valley Heights, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.

Johnson-Brock has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Axtell on the 27th. As for Valley Heights, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Washington County on the 27th.
