Basketball Recap: Midway Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Midway's game on Saturday was all tied up 18-18 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They received a blow as they fell 52-33 to the Hallsville Bobcats. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Midway's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10. As for Hallsville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Midway will take on Westlake in a tournament on Saturday. As for Hallsville, they will be taking part in a tournament against College Park at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. College Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hallsville surely won't give up without a fight.
