After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kennedy, Willamina was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-6 victory over the Rainier Columbians at home. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their six-point performance the game before.

Jacob Hadley went supernova for Willamina, rushing for 163 yards and three touchdowns. Hadley's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Ben Moore was another key player, picking up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Willamina wouldn't let Rainier keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Landon Risseeuw, Hondo Arenas, Caleb Frick, and Frick picked up one apiece.

The win got Willamina back to even at 1-1. As for Rainier, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Willamina is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they square off against Santiam Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rainier, they will take on Yamhill-Carlton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
