Poinciana Christian Preparatory took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Gateway as Poinciana Christian Preparatory made off with a 3-0 win.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Poinciana made easy work of Haines City on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Poinciana's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-9.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory better keep an eye on Carlos Marquez. He was instrumental in Poinciana's win, getting 22 assists and six aces. Ernest Nunn was another key player, getting nine kills and four digs.

Poinciana was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matchups.
