Basketball Recap: Lakeside Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lakeside had to endure a 20-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Plain Dealing Lions, posting a 55-20 victory. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Lakeside's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Plain Dealing, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Lakeside will be home for the holidays to greet North DeSoto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Plain Dealing, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Plain Dealing Lions challenge the Many Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
