Volleyball Recap: Dexter Has No Trouble Against Cimarron

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Quemado, Dexter was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cimarron Rams.

Emily DeLaRosa went supernova, getting six kills and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Melody Duran, who had six kills, three digs, and one block.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Cimarron, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Dexter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Des Moines on the 20th. As for Cimarron, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Hot Springs on the 20th.
