Gabriel Mcfarland Delivers Best Effort of Season

Vista Ridge was led to victory by Gabriel Mcfarland, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Mcfarland rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

This season, Mcfarland has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 126.7 rushing yards per game.

Avier Elvira Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Avier Elvira produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Palmer Ridge to the win on Friday. Elvira rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Elvira must have Air Academy's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Elvira saw the Kadets), he rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
