Volleyball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West lost against Uintah back in October of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Utes. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Uintah had a senior duo take command as Kenadie Maughan had four digs, three blocks, and two aces and Abbie Davis had 20 assists and four digs. Maughan is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Uintah, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

West has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Park City on the 22nd. As for Uintah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Murray on the 22nd.
