Football Game Recap: Wareham vs. Fairhaven

The last time they met, Wareham were the 20-8 winner over Fairhaven. This time around? They had no such luck. Wareham found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-28 punch to the gut against Fairhaven on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Wareham a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Wareham are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3. The victory bumped Fairhaven's record up to 2-1.

Next week Wareham take on Seekonk at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Fairhaven, they will face off against Case. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games.
