Football Recap: Oak Hill Falls to Winthrop in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Oak Hill kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. The matchup between the Raiders and the Winthrop Ramblers didn't end well, with the Raiders falling 28-12. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2015.

Oak Hill's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Joeseph Greenwood, who rushed for 82 yards and one TD, and Braden Dubuc, who rushed for 12 yards and one touchdown.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will face off against Morse at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Winthrop, they will square off against Mountain Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Ramblers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
