Softball Recap: Jonesboro Takes a Loss

Jonesboro lost against Central back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hurricane came up short against the Tigers, falling 23-14. The Hurricane have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arihya Quattlebaum was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs and one RBI. Justice Taylor was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Central, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jonesboro will square off against rival Bryant at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central is set to take on their familiar foe North Little Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
