Soccer Game Preview: Crandall vs. Midlothian Heritage

The Crandall Pirates will venture away from home to square off against the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midlothian Heritage took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Crandall, who comes in off a win.

Crandall's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Kaufman with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Midlothian Heritage after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Corsicana. The Jaguars have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Midlothian Heritage now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Crandall, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Crandall skirted past Midlothian Heritage 1-0 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Crandall since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
